A great body of believers who truly love Jesus Christ. If you are seeking to develop your relationship with the Lord and develop a strong Christian worldview, this church is for you. They are the Church of the City!
I've been a member for 3 years. Really enjoy the teaching.
So far so good. Friendly, awesome Pastor. Lots of groups and Bible studies to form good fellowship with people. I can wear a dress and feel comfy, and I can wear shorts and a t-shirt and be comfy too. No judgement.
It feels weird to review a church haha (I've never done it before even though I've been to countless churches). But my family has been attending here for a few months now and at 29 years old, this is the first time in my life I look forward to "going to church". It's nice of course that they offer many ministries, events and childcare options. But most importantly the leadership/preaching here seems genuinely Christ-like, and non-conforming to the woke ways of the world. I also enjoy worship time here, and hope my family can help give back to this body of believers and the community over the years to come! Everyone here is friendly and welcoming too.
The second time I went to the service was about 2 months ago, I found the pastor was spreading hate discussing LGBTQ matter. It’s ok to not agree but for him to say they are not welcome is a sign as spreading hate.
One person who attends this church also made a comment that dancing is a sin, but they sent their teenage child to a school dance. I found there are a lot of hypocrisy at these church. As a new believer, I would be so confuse attending this church and making it my home church. I would be sticking with a teaching that is more welcoming and “love” everyone as Jesus wants us to do.
Finally found a Godly home. We've only been to 2 Sunday services but I feel right at home (just adjusting) and the kids look forward to their first youth night they've ever attended this Tuesday. ❤️ 🙏 …
Mostly great people here and security has a good way of directing people and providing the security although rarely needed. The pastors are are very friendly and knowledgeable so it’s one big happy family here. Great school and lots of fun for for the very young right up to the “old” people. Great basketball program for the kids too.
My family has been attending here since 1990 and we have loved every year. The current Pastor is a great speaker, but more importantly, the congregation is welcoming. With four services over the weekend (1 Saturday night, 2 Sunday morning, and 1 Sunday night) there's not a good reason to not try this church out.
